A New Chapter for Adversity to Strength

After more than 150 episodes, Adversity to Strength is entering a new chapter. The ambition remains the same: to understand the person behind the public image, and the experiences that have shaped their life.

When I began Adversity to Strength, I wanted to create space for conversations that went further than the usual interview. I was interested not only in what people had achieved or become known for, but in where their journeys began, the decisions they made along the way and the moments that changed their direction.

More than 150 episodes later, that curiosity continues to shape the podcast. I've spoken with people from music, film, television, sport and many other walks of life, each bringing a different perspective and a story of their own.

A refreshed home for the podcast

Over recent weeks, I've been developing a refreshed recording studio, updating the podcast's visual identity and working to improve the overall recording experience. This new website brings the interviews, guest stories and podcast updates together in one place.

These changes matter to me because I want every guest to feel that their story has been taken seriously, and every listener to enjoy a conversation that is worth their time.

The person behind the story

My work as a psychotherapist has influenced the way I listen and the questions I ask. Adversity to Strength is built around preparation, curiosity and respect, where guests can speak in their own words and where there is room for humour, reflection and the unexpected.

As the podcast develops, I'll continue speaking with people from a broad range of backgrounds. Some will be familiar names; others may be less widely known but have extraordinary experiences to share. What matters is the substance of the conversation, not simply the recognition attached to a name.

What comes next

There are new interviews and conversations ahead, and I'll be sharing significant updates here as they take shape. I'll also use this space occasionally to look behind the scenes at the podcast and the process of preparing for interviews.

Thank you to everyone who has listened, watched, appeared as a guest or supported Adversity to Strength so far. I hope you'll join me for this next chapter.
